Core concepts in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving techniques. Classic data structures: hashing, heaps, trees. Advanced algorithms: graph algorithms, searching, sorting, graph algorithms, dynamic programming, greedy algorithms, divide and conquer, backtracking. Optimization problems: combinatorial optimization techniques. Complexity of algorithms and introduction to NP-completeness. Prerequisites: CSci 123, CSci 143 . (Fall)
