• I enjoyed the class overall even though I have been exposed to much of the subject material in my professional experiences.
• Dr. Bellaachia is a great guy in person, but I wish he would improve a few things for this class. I find the class basically just memorizing tons of lecture notes and dumpping it on the exam of final paper, and there is no room to express one's view that much (other wise he will assign you a bad grade). The programming project was fun and the term paper was a good chance to learn more about a topic. I was a bit dissapointed though during the demo of our final application. Our team found it rude that he wasn't paying much attention to the demo nor what we were saying, instead he kept on looking back and fourth at stuff in his laptop. At one point during the presentation, we were excited about some feature in our application and he really put the team down using un-necessary rude and sarcastic comments about this feature of the application. Also his grading is very harsh and not fair, although the nature of his exam question is very open to various answers, but again, if you don't memorize his slides and dump i
