14. Use this space for any comments you may have about the course, the instructor, readings, etc.
- The instructor is very approchable and supportive and understanding.
- I have chosen to research time series modeling with artificial neural networks . This topic has triggered many other questions. How should I write my algorithm to minimize the computing time? Should I use an optimization engine to train the network, or should I use the back-prop algorithm? How do I balance parallel computing given multiple time series to model? Is there a better algorithm in finding the optimal ANN architecture besides the known methods? Etc.
Although this class is a research class for answers I suppose, it has triggered more questions than answers in actuality. So, after the end of this class, I am quite certain that my research topic will not end, and I will continue explore for answers to my questions in the applications of computer science into the real world problems.
This class has been very rewarding.
