14. Use this space for any comments you may have about the course, the instructor, readings, etc.
  • Dr. Florea was a great professor, if I were to change one thing though it would be to spend more class time actually working on the computer software. It was a little difficult to hear a two and a half hour lecture then be expected to go home and know how to use the programs without actually practicing with the professor. When we did go over the programs it was a little too fast to understand.
  • Dr. Florea was a very engaging and knowledgeable professor. She also went out of her way several times to show concern for the students and was readily accessible outside of class times. I enjoyed the course and her teaching very much!
  • Dr. Liliana is very knowledgable about the material, but knowledge is not everything. I find her very unfriendly and repeling if students approach her with questions or discussion. I also find some of her sarcastic replies to students very rude and offensive. I've learned a lot in this course and it's all good knowledge, but again, it would have been a more pleasent experience if we had a friendly instructor whom is not rude. Also the mid-term exam was not that hard, but it was ridiculously long and we weren't given the entire class time to take it. The class average speaks for itself. And yes, these are comments of a student who will be getting an "A" in this class.
