 NOTE:

  • We recommend taking BiSc 109 and CSci 144 in the Fall and Spring respectively. However, they are also offered on a limited basis in the Spring and Fall (respectively) as well.
  • Freshmen with AP Biology are encouraged to take BiSc 109 in the Fall semester, followed with CSci 144 in the Spring semester.
  • Electives E1 and E2 are unrestricted, unless you opt for a Secondary Field in Biology. To obtain a Secondary Field in Biology, choose two Biology electives (B1 and B2) from this list:
    • BiSc 102 (3 cr): Cell Biology
    • BiSc 103 (3 cr): Biochemistry
    • BiSc 107 (4 cr): Genetics
    • BiSc 137 (4 cr): Microbiology
    • BiSc 150 (3 cr): Organic Evolution
    • BiSc 151 (3 cr): History of Life
    • BiSc 180 (3 cr): Biotechnology
    • BiSc 171 (3 cr): Undergraduate Research
