Academics

Medical Preparation Option in Computer Science

The medical preparation option permits the student to obtain a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and have sufficient preparation to apply to medical school. The student is prepared to work in various health sciences fields, to conduct research toward development of computer equipment to assist the medical profession in diagnosing and treating diseases, or to continue as a graduate student in Computer Science. Students pursuing medical preparation and applying to medical school should consult the SEAS representative to the University's premedical committee.
