Secondary Field or Minor in Computer Science

Effective Fall 2002

This secondary field--for students in other GW schools--is offered by the Department of Computer Science. The curriculum consists of three segments: prerequisite courses, core courses, and elective field courses. The total number of semester credit hours beyond the prerequisite courses is fifteen.

This curriculum can also be taken as a minor by students in SEAS programs other than Computer Science.

Prerequisites:

• Math 20 or 31 or 51 or 52 - Single Variable Calculus 1 (3)
• CSci 41 - Introduction to Computer Science (3)
