James K. Hahn is currently a full professor and the chair of the Department of Computer Science at the George Washington University where he has been a faculty since 1989. He is the founding director of the Institute for Biomedical Engineering and the Institute for Computer Graphics. His areas of interest are: medical simulation, image-guided surgery, medical informatics, visualization, and motion control. He is one of the pioneers in the areas of physics-based motion control in computer animation and sound in computer graphics. Selected Publications
